SVC-07 · Galvanised Steel Tanks
Galvanised steel tanks
Modular lined steel tanks for rapid open storage.
When the volume needs to live above ground — irrigation, wash-down, process or recycled water — a modular galvanised steel tank with an internal liner delivers serious capacity fast. Panels bolt together on a prepared base and the tank is commissioned in days.

Galvanised Steel Tanks in short
A galvanised steel tank is a modular above-ground store built from bolted galvanised panels, with a fitted internal liner that makes it watertight independently of the steel shell. Aquatech Civils supplies and assembles the panels ring by ring on a base built by others, installs the internal liner, fits the pipework and ancillaries, and commissions the tank with a staged fill before it enters service.

Installation process

PH-01
Base & setting out
The concrete or engineered base is built by others to the tank's requirements. We confirm level and setting out on it — the tank is only as good as what it stands on.
- 02
PH-02
Panel assembly
Galvanised panels are bolted ring by ring to the designed capacity.
- 03
PH-03
Internal liner
A fitted internal liner makes the structure watertight, independent of the steel shell.
- 04
PH-04
Pipework & ancillaries
Inlets, outlets, overflows and level indication are fitted and sealed.
- 05
PH-05
Fill & commission
A staged fill checks everything under load before the tank enters service.

Built to the design
Installed to your engineer's drawings and the manufacturer's detail. If something won't work, we tell you before we start.
Documented to sign-off
QA and handover records as standard, covering what building control and adopting authorities ask for.

Frequently asked questions
Farm irrigation and wash-down water, rainwater harvesting at scale, process and recycled water on industrial sites — anywhere you need large, accessible volume without excavation.
A level, load-bearing foundation — usually a concrete slab or engineered pad designed for the filled weight. We'll confirm requirements for your capacity before anything is ordered.
Bolted construction means panels can be dismantled and re-erected, and some designs allow capacity changes. Tell us if relocation is a realistic future need and we'll specify accordingly.
The water never touches the bolts — a continuous internal liner carries the water load, with the galvanised shell providing the structure. It's the same discipline as our buried systems: structure and membrane each doing their own job.
