What we did

300gsm geotextile across the formation, Juta Junifold impermeable membrane welded over it, the Stormmaster 40t crates built to 1.2m, then the full wrap closed over the top and the connections sealed.

02

The tricky bits

Stormmaster 40t is a crate rated for heavy loading, so the wrap has to sit tight to the block with no loose folds to be pinched when the cover goes on.

03

What we delivered

A wrapped and sealed 101m³ tank ready for backfill.

04

The tank

The tank covers 14m by 6m and is 1.2m deep. The Stormmaster 40t crates were built layer by layer inside the lined excavation to the designed volume and loading class, on 300gsm geotextile laid across the formation the groundworks team had prepared.

05

Testing and handover

The Juta Junifold membrane was heat-welded at every joint. None were taped. A test weld was carried out and recorded before backfill, and the tank was handed over with its weld test record and QA documentation.
