What we did
300gsm geotextile and a prefabricated Powerscrim PS600 liner, the Hydrocell crates built inside to 1.2m, the liner closed over the top and two 300mm fittings sealed through the wrap.
The tricky bits
Working on a school site means a fenced, tidy compound and keeping to the programme. A liner prefabricated to the tank's size cuts down the welding on site and gets the tank closed quickly.
What we delivered
A 115m³ tank wrapped, fitted and signed off on site.
The tank
The tank is 32m long, 3m wide and 1.2m deep: a long, narrow block of Hydrocell crates built to the designed volume inside the prefabricated liner. The 300gsm geotextile sits between the liner and the formation the groundworks team prepared, so the ground can't puncture it.
The two 300mm fittings were formed and sealed through the wrap to the drainage design.
Sign-off
The installation was completed and signed off on site in October 2025. A test weld was recorded before the tank was covered, and the QA and handover documentation went to the site team for building control.
